Professional membership
| US Neurologist or Physician | For physicians in the United States who are fully trained in clinical neurology or practice in fields related to neurology.  |
| International Physician | For physicians living outside the United States who are fully trained in clinical neurology or practice in fields related to neurology. |
| Researcher | For non-physicians engaged in research relating to neurology.  |
| Advanced Practice Provider | For licensed practitioners who spend the majority of their time with patients. |
| Business Administrators | For professionals engaged in managing academic or private neurological practices. |
| Senior | For those who have been Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» members for at least five years and are fully retired, disabled, or working less than 15 hours per week. |
Neurologist, Physician Affiliate, Researcher, Advanced Practice Provider, and Business Administrator memberships run on a calendar year (January 1 through December 31), regardless of join date.
Students and trainees
| Residents and Fellows | For physicians, fellows, or PhDs who are completing a neurology or research training program.  |
| Intern | For medical school graduates who are in their first year of a neurology residency program (or second year of a child neurology program).  |
| Student | For full-time students at an accredited medical school, or full-time students in a doctoral or graduate program. |
Resident and Fellow, Student, and Intern membership runs on an academic year (July 1 through June 30). 
Waived and reduced dues
Senior membership: Apply for senior status if you've been an Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» member for at least five years and are fully retired, disabled, or are working less than 15 hours per week of professional activity. Learn more. 
Early career members: Reduced annual dues for early-career physicians are available only to existing members who have completed post-graduate year studies. The eligible rates will be automatically shown during the checkout process. 
Developing countries: Reduced annual dues are automatically applied to members residing in  lower-middle-income countries a²Ô»å ±ô´Ç·É-¾±²Ô³¦´Ç³¾±ð c´Ç³Ü²Ô³Ù°ù¾±±ð²õ as defined by the World Bank. These rates will be shown upon checkout. 
Active-duty US military: If you are an active-duty US military Neurologist member, you are eligible for a 25% discount off your Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» membership. Please reach out to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Member Services prior to renewing your Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» membership to confirm your eligibility and receive a special discounted rate.
EAN member: If you are an individual member of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN), you are eligible for a 10% discount off your Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» membership. Please reach out to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Member Services prior to renewing your Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» membership to confirm your EAN membership and receive a special discounted rate.
