The Industry Roundtable (IRT) provides a forum for the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ and industry representatives to share ideas and resources with the neurology communities. The goal of the Industry Roundtable is to foster positive engagement and ensure effective communication as industry and the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ collaborate on shared opportunities to support neurology and serve patients with neurological disease.

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ has long recognized the value of partnering with industry on projects of common interest. Since 1994, the Industry Roundtable has partnered with the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ to share vision, intellect, and financial resources with a focus on improving the quality of patient care. By collaborating with the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­, industry makes connections, gains knowledge and insight, and gets recognized.

All grants, sponsorships, and IRT memberships must comply with the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­’s Principles Governing Academy Relationships with External Sources of Support, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ (ACCME) Standards for Commercial Support, and the Council of Medical Specialty Societies’ Code for Interactions with Companies. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ accepts financial and in-kind support from corporations, foundations, individuals, and other organizations only if such acceptance would not pose a conflict of interest and in no way impair the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­’s objectivity, influence, priorities, and actions. Support of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ programs or participation on the IRT does not permit influence over content, nor does it imply Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ approval or endorsement of an organization’s policies or products.
