Participants will be able describe specific recommendations to help improve the transition of care from pediatrics to adult neurologic care; be able to discuss the concerns and solutions in being able to care for individuals who have limited verbal and communications skills; understand the role of updated genetic testing and explain how to best provide care in pharmacoresistent seizures; and be able to describe several specific unique issues that are particular to the evaluation and care of seizures in adults with IDD.
