Neuromuscular and Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG)
Participants should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding into the origins and acquisition of compound muscle and sensory nerve action potentials, late responses, and pitfalls of nerve conduction studies. Understanding the origin of needle EMG waveforms and how auditory pattern recognition assists in spontaneous and voluntary waveform assessment and interpretation will be emphasized.
