Participants should understand the mechanisms by which vaccines provide immunity, and how this may impact immune-mediated neurologic disease; should understand available data regarding the association of particular vaccines with neurological disorders; understand what data are available regarding recommendations for vaccination in persons with neurologic illnesses. Participants should become familiar with systems to monitor vaccine safety in the United States.
