Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG)
This session will explore the principles and practices of community-engaged research as a vital approach to advancing neurological health. Participants will learn how to effectively partner with communities throughout the entire research lifecycle, from developing relevant research questions to designing and implementing studies. The presentation will highlight strategies for building authentic collaborations with stakeholders, ensuring that research is both meaningful and impactful for the communities involved. Attendees should gain insights into methods for co-creating knowledge and disseminating findings in ways that are accessible and useful to community partners. Researchers and clinicians should leave with a practical roadmap for integrating these collaborative approaches into their work to improve the quality and relevance of neurological science.
