Leadership
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowships are accelerating neurology workforce readiness while strengthening interdisciplinary care. This interactive panel, co-led by Calli L Cook, DNP, APRN; Joel Morgenlander, MD, and Louis Tramontozzi, MD, shares practical models from multiple centers and care settings. We start with a concise primer on APP scope and value within neurology teams, then spotlight how fellowship design becomes a 'force multiplier' for collaboration across neurologists, residents, nurses, therapists, and administrators. Using an education–exposure–engagement framework aligned with Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Leadership University, the session surfaces key levers: stakeholder mapping, role clarity, shared evaluation tools, and operational dashboards. We integrate published outcomes from a decade of neurology APP fellowship experience to show impact on access, onboarding, retention, and satisfaction. Participants leave with suggested educational guidance with MD–APP co-leadership and cross-disciplinary partnerships.
