Participants should be able to define the concept of brain health across the lifespan and describe its relevance to neurological disease prevention and healthy aging; identify and explain the six pillars of lifestyle medicine and their evidence-based impact on neurological health; evaluate current scientific evidence linking lifestyle behaviors to the prevention and progression of major neurologic conditions; apply principles of lifestyle medicine within a preventive neurology framework, including strategies for primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention; integrate lifestyle assessment tools and counseling techniques into clinical neurology practice to promote long-term brain health; and discuss emerging research and innovations in brain health promotion, including neuroplasticity, the gut brain axis, and digital health.
