Neuro Trauma and Critical Care
Participants should become familiar with the process of conducting a complete brain death evaluation based on the new Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ guidelines; use the right ancillary tests; be able to address difficult cases and avoid pitfalls; complete the brain death exam under special situations, such as VA or VV ECMO, severe respiratory failure, or with lesions in the posterior fossa; and address legal concerns about brain death declaration and accommodation of families.
