Participants should be able to recognize and describe the various neurophysiological modalities used in intra-operative monitoring of spine, peripheral nerve, and brain surgeries; review basic neurophysiological principles of evoked potentials and their application in intra-operative monitoring; review the setup and interpretation of somatosensory and motor evoked potentials; and review and assess the role of intra-operative functional cortical mapping.
