Participants should gain skills for brain death determination, with a focus on identifying appropriate patient for brain death testing; exam performance; and addressing ethical, legal, and moral dilemmas. If published by the time of the course, the session will include a review of the Uniform Determination of Death Act (UDDA) and how changes impact bedside practice.
