Movement Disorders
Discussion of sleep, social connection, and mind- body approaches to neurohealth, including how to make this wellness approach accessible in a cultural context (LGBTQ, women, ethnic minorities) This topic is very current and important especially given the pandemic. It is relevant for not just movement disorders like Parkinson's Disease but also dementias, MS, headache and even long-COVID and it aligns well with the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­'s mission around Brain Health and DEI. Attendees will learn practical tips for their patients and for themselves. Emphasis on how to counsel patients during a clinic visit will be incorporated. Discussion and audience participation will be encouraged.
