Upon completion:
Participants should be able to distinguish between radicular and somatic pain in clinical practice; state the prevalence of various causes of these conditions; assess the reliability and validity of various clinical tests, medical imaging, and electrodiagnostic tests for radicular and somatic spinal pain; relate the lack of conservative treatments; defend the efficacy of percutaneous and injection treatments; and formulate an evidence-based algorithm for investigation and treatment.
