Learning Objectives Participants will be able to accurately diagnose trigeminal neuralgia based on International Classification of Headache Disorders 3; explain the pathophysiology and natural history of trigeminal neuralgia; select the optimal medication and interventional techniques used for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia; and accurately diagnose conditions that at times mimic classical trigeminal neuralgia including trigeminal autonomic cephalgias, temporomandibular disorders, and distal branch neuralgias.
