Improving Detection of Hippocampal Epileptiform Activity Using Magnetoencephalography (MEG)
Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG)
S31 - Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG) 3 (4:30 PM-4:42 PM)
006
Magnetoencephalography (MEG) is used in conjunction with stereotactic-electroencephalography (sEEG) monitoring to better define the zone of irritability and provide targets for subsequent surgical resection. The purpose of this retrospective blinded cross-sectional study was to determine whether MEG virtual sensors could be used to identify epileptiform activity in the hippocampus and report the concordance with sEEG.
