The CME Accreditation & Endorsement Subcommittee is responsible for tasks related to the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­I’s ACCME accreditation, including the review and approval of applications for new CME programs, review of existing programs, and advising on the ACCME requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for non-conference Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­I CME activities
• Review content updates and changes to ongoing Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­I CME activities
• Review applications for joint providership opportunities
• Make decisions on Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­I CME applications, activity updates, and joint providership
• Report to the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Committee on new CME activities, joint providership opportunities, and the current Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­I Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Program Portfolio
• Collaborate with the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Committee to identify gaps in the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­I Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Program Portfolio
• Advise on topics related to the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­I’s accreditation cycle, including the re-accreditation process
• Advise on current ACCME requirements and compliance

Selection/appointment

Subcommittee members are appointed by the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ President.

Meeting schedule

• The subcommittee has an hour-long virtual meeting 1-2 times per year based on need.

Committee composition

The subcommittee consists of a chair, vice chair, and eight additional members at large.
