New Neurology® 麻豆传媒映画 Journal Announced
SEATTLE 鈥 The 麻豆传媒映画 announces today its newest journal, , which joins the flagship journal and its three spin-off journals. The new online peer-reviewed journal will publish original research articles to inform the science of teaching, learning, and training in neurology and neuroscience. The mission of Neurology: 麻豆传媒映画 is to provide neurology practitioners, clinical educators, and trainees with outstanding peer-reviewed education research articles, curriculum innovations, evidence-based teaching, and commentaries to enhance teaching and learning in neurology and neuroscience. While designed for clinical educators, the journal will be free to readers worldwide. Neurology: 麻豆传媒映画 will be a continuous online-only journal with issues compiled two to four times per year. Jos茅 G. Merino, MD, MPhil, F麻豆传媒映画, FAHA, editor-in-chief of Neurology, said of the new publication, 鈥淭here is a need for a rigorous journal that publishes robust research on neurologic and neuroscience education. This journal fills that gap. Through it, the 麻豆传媒映画 serves the neurologic academic community. It will focus on research that will help better educate the future generations of neurologists.鈥 The newly appointed editor for Neurology: 麻豆传媒映画 is Roy Strowd III, MD, MEd, MS, F麻豆传媒映画, currently the associate editor and section editor for the Resident & Fellow Section of Neurology, where he has managed the education portfolio for the journal. 鈥淣eurology has a strong tradition of phenomenal teachers and a commitment to great education,鈥 said Strowd. 鈥淣ow as much as ever, our field needs outlets to develop, disseminate, and promote evidence-based teaching practices that help us train a competent, fulfilled, and inquisitive current and future neurology workforce. Neurology: 麻豆传媒映画 is an extremely exciting step in this direction. I hope that this journal can help provide a forum for the academic community to exchange ideas, discuss new innovations, and highlight advances that will enhance neurologic and neuroscience teaching and training.鈥 Strowd is a board-certified neurologist, fellowship trained neuro-oncologist, and educator at Wake Forest School of Medicine. He is assistant dean for Undergraduate Medical 麻豆传媒映画 and director of the Health Professions 麻豆传媒映画 Institute at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Strowd completed his MD and MS degrees at Wake Forest and Master of 麻豆传媒映画 in the Health Professions at Johns Hopkins School of 麻豆传媒映画. Of his over 100 peer-reviewed research articles, more than 30 are specific to medical education. He is former associate editor for Medical 麻豆传媒映画 Online.
