Participants should be able to diagnose and manage patients with non-Alzheimer dementias; utilize the current medical and surgical approaches to the various movement disorders other than Parkinson's disease; offer patients with cancer of the nervous system the best evidence-based treatment options; appropriately diagnose and treat patients presenting with spine and back disorders; prescribe up-to-date treatments for the important neuropathic disorders; recognize and treat the important neuromuscular junction and myopathic disorders; recognize the important neuro-ophthalmological disorders seen in neurology practice; and apply evidence-based approaches to the treatment and prevention of stroke.
