Participants should be able to write letters of recommendation that will best convey their trainee and be able to better interpret letters of recommendation when reviewing applications. They should be able to use techniques such as the "One Minute Preceptor" to assess trainees and provide oral feedback to the learner in a short period of time. Participant should learn how to provide useful written feedback to the trainee. Antendees will learn how efficiently round at the bedside while still being able to highlight "teachable moments."
