Participants will become familiar with current evidence-based recommendations for assessment of modifiable risk factors for age-related neurologic disease and established and proposed mechanisms by which these factors influence disease risk, independent functioning, and patient-centered outcomes such as quality of life; learn implementation strategies for managing risk factors at the individual level; understand recommendations and strategies for managing risk factors at the community or population level, including health policy implications and financial accountability; and identify research gaps and future directions.
