Upon completion:
Participants should be able to recognize and treat the common headache syndromes; recognize the important neuro-ophthalmologic disorders seen in neurology practice; diagnose and manage the common neurological problems seen in patients with general medical illnesses; utilize the newest disease modifying treatments for multiple sclerosis; diagnose and treat the major causes of dizziness; appropriately diagnose and treat patients presenting with spine and back disorders; offer patients with cancer of the nervous system the best evidence-based treatment options; and apply evidence-based approaches to the treatment and prevention of stroke.

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed Update in Neurology I and has approved this product as part of a comprehensive lifelong learning program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of maintenance of certification.
