Participants should be able to define the components of professionalism, describe challenges in learning and maintaining professional behavior in the current health care environment, and describe strategies leveraging the formal, informal and hidden curriculum to train medical students and residents to have professional behaviors. Participants should also be equipped with tools to address lapses in professionalism.
