Leadership
The vice chair role in academic neurology is increasingly essential—yet often poorly defined—requiring leaders to align departmental strategy with faculty priorities while navigating complex systems without full formal authority. In this interactive session, two vice chairs (Clinical Affairs and Faculty Development) will share practical frameworks and real-world cases on leading from the middle, managing competing priorities, and strengthening communication and accountability. Through peer discussion, participants will begin building a lasting vice chair community—shared playbooks, peer mentorship, and support networks that enhance alignment, resilience, and institutional impact.
