Participants should be able to recognize the complications of cardiac interventions and prognosticate outcome after cardiac arrest; recognize and treat respiratory distress and weakness in the ICU; recognize and treat conditions that cause intercranial hypertension such as ischemic/hemorrhagic strokes; and recognize seizures in the ICU and manage the patient with status epilepticus.
