Participants should be able to describe the critical roles and contributions of program managers in neurology training programs; explain the strategies program directors can employ to foster the professional growth of program managers; demonstrate methods for creating opportunities for skill-building, leadership, and career advancement for program managers; analyze the impact of professional development initiatives on the success of the program manager and the residency program; develop a collaborative plan for ongoing professional development tailored to the needs of the program manager; and assess the effectiveness of professional development initiatives and refine approaches to enhance outcomes.
