Health Care Disparities, Practice, Policy, and Ethics
Participants should be able to explain the fundamental concepts, theories, and practical examples of value-based health care, focusing on condition-centered care and aligning payment incentives to improve patient outcomes; learn to apply value-based methods to address health care disparities in neurology to better align care with patient needs and outcomes; gain knowledge on how to engage community health workers in the care of patients with anxiety, depression, and other complex conditions to improve outcomes and reduce disparities; and be able to formulate strategies for scalable and sustainable health care interventions.
