Access to neurology care can be restricted for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) due to insurance and increased time needed for communication and care coordination. In this Section Showcase, a panel of practitioners with expertise in reimbursement, clinicians with expertise in IDD and health care transition from pediatric to adult care will discuss strategies related to billing, practice accessibility, and systems-related solutions to increase care accessibility and inclusion.
